A passionate animal lover and enthusiast of all things “Canine”, I have been actively grooming for almost 20 years, and working hands on with dogs for almost 23 years. My training and education include a Btec National Certificate in Animal Care, a Certificate in Canine Psychology, and despite achieving my City & Guilds Advanced Level 3 Grooming qualification in 2010, I still enjoy continuing to expand my knowledge and skills by attending seminars/training days and completing personal research - very much believing it is beneficial for both my clients and myself. I’m a member of “The Groomers Spotlight”, ‘which champions and promotes Pet Groomers that have worked to achieve a “Groomers Spotlight Standard” professional level of knowledge’. Now permanently back working for myself, on the Hexhamshire Farm that is our home, (just over 10 minutes drive from Hexham) I am thrilled to be able to offer a one to one and personal service to clients.

I am happy to groom dogs to Breed Standard (where their coat allows) or Personal Specification, also offering Hand-stripping to those dogs that it is appropriate for, both from a coat condition and health aspect.

The happiness, health and welfare of the dogs left in my care for grooming is of paramount importance, and I am very much a believer in the mantra “Humanity Before Vanity”.
